It is stressful waking up every morning and go to work without any motivation. Spend there around eight hours. Go home. And be in a place where everyone is discussing with each other. Go to bed and start all over again.
Working and family are absolutely important in everyone's life, so both influence each other being a good or bad contribution. Because of this we have to be careful about the attention we pay for each part of the life and try not to prefer just one of the parts. All this thing is essential to be happy and have a full life.
Now we have to think about what is most important for us: Family or Mo
ney?
It is hard to answer. Many of you can think "it is obvious that all the people will say family" but is that true? There are too much people who are in love with their job almost in an insane way. They are "married with their job". Most of them usually disregard their family. Also there are the ones who are in a job or studied a career they didn’t like. They did it for the money and now are disappointed, tired, bored or stressed with what they are doing. But also there people who want to be all the time with their family. They go out together on weekends and things like that, but disregarding their job.
We can analyze all this things in the "Jack Randa Hotel". There is Gail a woman who lost her baby because of an accident and decided she did not wanted to have another one. So she had a hysterectomy.
I think that could have been a wrong decision because that is a permanent surgery. If she would want to have a baby after that, she just couldn't and also it could have been a decision taken because of the hurt of loosing a baby. It also means to resign to a family.
Other thing is after loosing her baby, Gail decided to create her own business and she became addict to her job. She learned about importing. She hired people to work with, etc. Gail took care just about her job and left absolutely apart her family life. This is quite common. Especially with people who have had any trauma in their family.
Then Gail met Will and they were couple, but when will left her and moved out with other girl, she just sold her business and followed him without thinking about it.
This two last examples show the extremes of both sides. But none of those are corrects. She needs to found the balance between her family and her job.
At the end we need both parts of the life to be OK. Covering all the needs and developing all the areas of the life to be a complete person with a full life, happy and able to achieve every goal, which is everyone’s dream. Also Gail’s, I think. She just chose the wrong way.
